tell me what i should do!

ok, so ive just finished year 12, and on the 17 Nov our school is having a graduation dinner with teachers and parents (sorta like a prom i think)...

afterwards there's an after party (going from 11pm to 3am)...so should i go or not???

go: ive already paid
everyone's going
all my friends want me to go
its the end of school and ill never have a chance to hang out with the rest of my year again

not: my parents will skin me alive (note: they're really religious, and not "aussie" so they dont want me to go as its "not part of our culture")
ill have to sneak out of the house to get there (how will i manage that)
i wont be allowed out for the rest of my life
my parents will hate me
my brother (a year older than me) doesnt think its a good idea to go

and seeing as its the end of school and theres like 4 months til university starts i really want to hang out with my friends during that time...going to the after party is pretty much sealing my fate to be stuck at home in the summer break


so any ideas would be great!

Just a question, where are your parents from if they're not aussie?
I would go and then stay over a friend's house after or whatever. Or if you decide not to go and don't get grounded you could just try and make the most of seeing your friends in the summer.

my whole family's from pakistan, though i consider myself more aussie than paki, and i cant pull off the "im sleeping at a friends place" because im not allowed to do that either

gah!

i think ill see what happens on the day and make my decision at the last minute lol
