random question but..

is halloween really big in america, does pretty much everyone get involved in it, or is it exaggerated on american tv shows??

on halloween i only had 2 boys come to my house and they werent even dressed up, one was in normal clothes and the other was holding a white towel (saying he was a ghost haha)

i gave them a couple of snickers because they were 10 and 8 years old..i think

I think its big here, almost all the younger kids get dressed up and go out trick or treating and lots of people decorate their homes and stuff, its pretty awesome, and even older teens do it, but most dont dress up

and the girls get stoked and dress like sluts!!

hahaha 'mean girls' style
some teens here use it as an excuse to get drunk, egg houses and play knock and run
(as what happened to my place a few years ago)
but otherwise its usually quiet with the occasional trick or treater
